Shigar is a valley in Gilgit Baltistan in northern Pakistan that is watered by the Shigar River, and centred on the town of Shigar.This valley is the gateway to the highest mountains of Karakoram Range.The valley is an adventurous place for hiking, and trekking loving people despite the tough conditions. It is also the attraction for tourists and the road to the second-highest mountain in the world, K2, comes here too.
